The Alvin Jones Band are highly experienced in all types of function, such as:- Masonic Ladies Festivals, Corporate Dinner Dances, Weddings, Birthdays etc.  The current line-up comprises…

Alvin (Graham) – Lead Vocals, Trumpets, Percussion, Harmonicas, Master of Ceremonies.

Maddie – Keyboards, Backing Vocals.

Ian – Bass, Backing Vocals.

Don – Drums.

With three lead vocalists and brass section the band is able to deliver a huge variety of musical styles and therefore tailor it’s performance to the audience. Unlike many function bands we do not work from a fixed set list of songs. The tunes we play are picked “on the fly” based on audience reaction. This is how we maximise audience enjoyment, with the aim of packing the dance floor all night.

We are based in Southend, Essex, but are able to travel the South-East;  including Kent, London, Hertfordshire, Suffolk etc.

We don’t have a demo CD, first of all because 95% of our bookings come from recommendations and secondly because we believe there is absolutely no substitute for seeing us live. For booking enquiries or to arrange to see us live please contact Mark as above.
